Sanitary tri clover gaskets need to hold up to rigorous manufacturing processes and harsh environments. When choosing a sanitary clamp gasket for your sanitary pipe lines, it's important to understand the properties of the elastomer that your gasket is made from. Ace Seal draws from more than 30 years of experience to help you select the right seal material for your application. Available sanitary tri-clamp seal elastomers include: Fluorocarbon or FKM Tri-Clamp Gaskets: Our FKM sanitary tri-clamp gaskets are made from a specialty elastomer material that is engineered to withstand high temperatures while retaining its mechanical qualities. FKM sanitary gaskets are more resistant to a greater variety of fluids and chemicals than those made of other, non-fluorinated elastomers. FDA/3A approved options are available. These food grade gaskets are ideal for temperatures ranging from 25ºC (-13ºF) to +204ºC (399ºF). Ace Seal's FKM sanitary gasket material also provides the following beneficial features:
Ace Seal's aseptic silicone clamp seals are manufactured from stable, non-reactive materials that are resistant to heat, fungus, sunlight, ozone, and weathering. Our silicone sanitary gaskets can perform in extreme temperatures from -55º to 300ºC (-67º to 572ºF) without losing their useful properties. Also known as ethylene-polypropylene, EPDM is one of the most durable synthetic rubber materials available. EPDM sanitary gaskets and EPDM tri-clamp gaskets are resistant to steam, hot water, sunlight, silicone oils and greases, dilute acids, and automotive brake fluids. The material is ideal for extreme cold environments (as low as -60ºC/-76ºF), outdoor equipment, and other challenging applications. FDA approved EPDM gasket materials are available.
